SANGAT Consulting Collective acknowledges that the land on which we live, work, and gather is the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Ktunaxa, the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

We recognize that in the spirit of truth and reconciliation, this acknowledgement is only a starting point. We commit to the ongoing work of educating ourselves, building respectful, meaningful and intentional relationships with Indigenous communities, practicing cultural humility, and ensuring our equity-centred work actively contributes to decolonization and social justice.
